Vegas Wedding Guide:
Off-Strip Hotels
When planning your Vegas wedding, you have a truly amazing array of options. In addition to the incredible hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, there are some wonderful hotels located off-strip as well.
These hotels range from modest and low-cost to extravagant, hip, and luxurious. They also have one major benefit: they are removed from the gridlocked traffic of Las Vegas Boulevard.
In fact, several of the trendiest hotel casinos are located off-strip. These include the Palms Las Vegas, the Hard Rock, and the brand new Red Rock Hotel and Casino.
Other off-strip hotels, such as the Rio, can offer comparative value while also offering great in-house wedding planning services and excellent facilities.
Finally, there is the Las Vegas Hilton, which is connected to the massive Las Vegas convention center.
The following are our picks for the best off-strip hotel wedding sites. All except the Hard Rock offer on-site wedding planners.
Off-Strip Hotels:
There is no hipper hotel in Las Vegas than the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. With a young clientele and a rock and roll theme, the Hard Rock remains a favorite with Hollywood actors and rockers. No on-site wedding chapel, but they plan great bachelor(ette) parties.
The Las Vegas Hilton is adjacent to the Las Vegas Convention center. The Hilton offers one of the most novel and unusual wedding packages in Las Vegas, its Star Trek Experience weddings. Get married on the deck of the Enterprise! The Hilton also offers traditional weddings in its chapel.
Perhaps the hotel with the youngest (and arguably hippest) crowd in town, the Palms Las Vegas. Known as the hot spot for the MTV generation (Britney stayed here the night she was married in Vegas), the Palms offers weddings in its beautiful courtyard pool area.
Situated in the stunningly beautiful Red Rock Canyon several miles outside the city, the Red Rock Hotel and Casino is one of Vegas' newest and most luxurious resorts. Red Rock has an in-house wedding planning staff, and the resort's facilities can accommodate weddings with up to 2200 guests.
Another resort that attracts a young crowd, The Rio Hotel and Casino is known for its round the clock party atmosphere. The Wedding Chapel at the Rio offers an in-house planning staff and a variety of Vegas wedding packages.
These off-strip Las Vegas hotels offer some of the trendiest environments in town.
Some offer better room deals than equivalent hotels on the strip, so they are worth checking into if you are trying to keep to a budget.
If you are less concerned with being close to other big casinos and instead prefer a hotel with excellent on-site facilities and a hip, younger clientele, then you'll want to consider one of these off-strip properties for your Vegas wedding.
